Meet the Founder and CEO of Sweet Pea Chic Baby Box Co., Shemaine Fox-Pickens. A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Shemaine has been a serial entrepreneur for the last 15 years. She started Sweet Pea Chic in 2019 in hopes of creating a company that could be a resource for women everywhere. She used her experience as a Mother and as a woman who was battling infertility to create Sweet Pea Chic so that women and their families can begin the journey of Motherhood prepared. 

As a Corporate Professional for the last 15 years, and extensive knowledge and experience within the Human Resources and Administrative worlds, Shemaine used her knowledge and with her Husband Herbert by her side, they embarked on building Sweet Pea Chic into what it is today! Shemaine is also the Founder of The Fertile Ground Foundation which advocates for women battling infertility in hopes that she can create more visibility to the world of infertility and bring women from all walks of life together to share their experiences in hopes of healing one another. 

Shemaine is also the host of her Podcast Fertile Ground where she discusses different topics surrounding infertility with different guests within the community. She and her husband hope to one day create a legacy for their daughter, and to build a community where women are protected and supported.
